Other people’s views are always useful. They can help us make a decision. Sometimes they can motivate us into action. They can provide us with information we can act upon.

However, taking on other’s peoples views can also be risky, if you make the mistake of blindly believing what they tell you.

I like to make judgements based on personal experience. If I’ve experienced it, then it becomes a reality and truth for me. In the process, my experience might validate the advice other’s were offering me. On the other hand, my experience might contradict what other people were telling me. Even in this case, what I have experienced becomes a reality and truth for me.
