How the Answers to Your Problems are Already in You

8986231839_66d0b18603

If you’re feeling stuck in life, then seeking help really is the sensible thing to do. Friends, family, coaches, books, audio programs can help. All of these can be a great inspiration. However, ultimately, it will be you who will create the change you need to improve your situation. Read on to find out how the answers to your problems are already in you:

Your thinking is yours

A lot of the time, a change in thinking is all it takes for a problem to cease being such. Sure, someone else might have facilitated you to change your perspective. It was you though, who then used your capacity to alter your thought patterns to those that serve you better.

And when your inner thoughts change, the way you look out into the world changes, almost magically. You suddenly respect yourself. You marvel at the world around you. You suddenly have a spring in your step.

Mastery of your emotions

If you’re feeling down, then you experience this in your body. For instance, you might feel hot in a certain part of your body if you’re experiencing fear of anger.

Just like you can experience any unhelpful emotion in your body, you also have the ability to be the observer and ignore any emotion that you know will get you in a bad state, if you pay attention to it.

Just consider how powerful this truly is for a moment? When you transcend any emotion you experience at any point, you’re no longer the emotion. You’re far greater than any feeling.

Your experiences change you

When it boils down to it, and you are compelled to change, you have made the decision to step into the world and have the experiences you need to, in order to improve your life.

Others can help you to step out of the door. However, it will be you who will take the courageous first step.

And taking this first step provides you with evidence that you have it in to move into the unfamiliar. Your beliefs change. And when this happens, suddenly, the impossible becomes possible.

In the future, other challenges will continue to present themselves. However, remember, you took the first step previously and created change. You can do so again, and again.

You can grow

Every part of your being has the potential to grow. However, it’s the challenges you face in your life that will enable you to do so. Allow yourself to find out your own solutions by going to the problem, rather than avoiding it.

There is so much powerful energy deep within you that is bursting to come out. However, these inner resources will remain dormant, unless you believe in yourself to be able to deal with the problem you’re facing.

The truth is you really are short changing yourself, if you don’t give yourself an opportunity to step out of what feels comfortable and move into the area where you will grow.

When you do, you might just stun yourself when you realise just how much you really can do.

My friends, it’s over to you:

• In what other ways do the solutions to our problems already exist in us?
• What can we do to manifest these resources?
• Please share your valuable views, experiences and thoughts in the comments box below.

I agree with you completely that many of the answers are already in you. You just need to take a look at yourself and you will find most answers inside you. Like you say, you have to take control of your emotions.

      Hi Elle,

Thank you for leaving such an inspiring comment, my friend.

What you wrote about inner awareness really got me thinking about the power of this. When we begin to develop self-awareness we understand how we really work, how so often we create our own problems, and how within us we also have our own solutions.

Have a wonderful week ahead, Elle!

    Hi Hiten,

You are absolutely right in saying all that you did :)

If there is a problem in our life, we ourselves have the solutions to those problems too. We just need to find them and work towards removing them from our life. You mentioned some brilliant ways we can do that, and it all starts with us – making the first move towards – or shall we say being self-aware.

There is certainly change of emotion and also you grow and evolve into a better person when you are able to work on your issues yourself. Something we all need to do!

Thanks for sharing. Have a nice weekend :)

      Hi Harleena,

Indeed, you resonated with Elle’s comment with your point about being self-aware. Developing the capacity to observe our responses to the outside world and our inner experiences can be so useful.

Absolutely, as you say, we grow as people so much when we’ve been able to discover our own solutions.

Thanks for leaving your great comment, Harleena. Have a wonderful week ahead! :-)

Seeing as we are all made of the same protons, neutrons and electrons; the only difference between success and failure is the act of trying. Every problem we have is solvable and every goal is attainable. Within us exists the potential for greatness.

As you say, the one difference between success and failure is the actual trying. Therefore, it makes sense to act, because without any action success doesn’t manifest.

A Change in thinking and/or altering perspective interrupts the staleness. Creating a fresh view of things can be a light bulb moment. You and I have a lot within us. Sometimes we discover this ourself … often it needs encouragement from others. Thanks Hiten.

Absolutely, as you say, as switch in perspective interrupts the staleness. What a great way of looking at it! The point you made about light bulb moments got me thinking. We can all have far more ‘light bulb moments’ if we have faith in our innate creativity as opposed to judging and taking ourselves and life too seriously.

Many thanks for your great comment, David. I much appreciate your support!

Hello; when i was in school i had what they called orientation and mobility classes where they taught this blind man how to use a cane. They explained all about crossing streets, but in the end it was still up to me to step off of the curve and have the faith i would safely make it to the other side. In my recent adult life i have lost 250 pounds after having gastric surgery started a business that includes a website email list blog and now youtube videos. I am currently working to raise funds to start traveling to visit my clients and start doing a weekly show that focuses on my target market of the amusement industry and the equipment my clients have for sale. I am starting to embrace my roll as someone who can inspire and encourage others. I hope your readers will be taking their own first steps towards living the life they deserve. I don’t know what else to add – you seem to have covered them pretty well ;)

Anyways, I love #1 and #2 – #2 especially. I am trying to control my emotions. I fail, a lot, but I am improving :D

I am starting to think a lot before (and after) reacting..was my reaction misplaced? Was I just being a jerk? How do I feel right now? And why do I feel that way? Can I solve this? (In most cases, I can..I just have to take a break).

Speaking of breaks, they are probably the best way to get another perspective on the problem we are facing…stop thinking about the issue, let our unconscious mind do the work, right?

    Let’s get those insights coming!

Thanks for the tips, Hiten :) Appreciate it!

Whether through advice given to others, or taken in by myself, I’ve regularly seen how often the answers come from within. Some of my friends tell me that I’m great at listening and helping them to solve their problems, when really I’m often just retelling them what they’ve already told me.

And personal growth can really work to pull us out of our problems and into the realm of solutions.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Hiten,

I agree, challenges make us grow no matter what, and they make us see that we are so much stronger than we thought we were.

It’s true that ultimately, changes happen because of us alone, because no help will work if we don’t work it. That is true even for physical illness. Healing is first of all in our own mind. Some people choose to stay sick.

    Thank you for this.

Absolutely, ultimately we need to take responsibility for ourselves and to help ourselves to get unstuck from any difficult we’re facing. I just loved what you wrote about healing firstly being in our mind and how some people make a choice to stay sick. This is just the way it is.

Love this post my friend :)

I think when we lean on outside tools (like podcasts, audiobooks, and blogs) for the answers to our problems, we’re taking the wrong approach. How I love to use the tools are for support–like to provide me with different approaches for tackling the problems I’m facing–and I find they work incredibly well for that!

    Hello Hiten,

As you quite rightly said, good thoughts lead to good results and bad thoughts will lead to bad results. It really is as profound, yet simple as this. This principle alone can be a great driving force for us to take conscious control of our thoughts, so that we think in ways that will serve us well.

Many thanks for your inspiring comment, Dan! Have a great weekend. :-)

I often give the same advice to people over and over again whenever they come to me for advice on how to become successful at anything.

The TL;DR version of it is that the answers come from inside and out.

The world will often provide us with all the answers we need, but it won’t give it to you for free. You have to work for it by going out there and learning from your mistakes, looking ‘inside’ for answers and then responding to the things that happen ‘outside’.

    So as an example:

Inside: “How did I respond to this situation? What did I do wrong and how can I correct it for next time?”

Outside: “Did I make the most of the situation? How did that person or thing respond to my actions?”

The answers are all around us, all the time, all it takes is consciousness and becoming aware of it as it happens.
