You know that meeting is coming up at work. You have a thought in your mind about how you will stammer like crazy. You feel dread in your stomach.
At this point you have become the thought.
But you have a unique ability.
You are able to observe the thought of you stammering in the meeting from a distance… like watching a movie. You can watch all the drama unfolding, without actually being in it.
At this point are you still the thought? Or course you’re not! You’re the observer.
What does this mean?
You are not your thoughts.
