But they’re not.
They can be used for good things. They can give a person a confident outlook on life.
They can be used for bad things. They can even make people start wars!
And that’s the main problem with beliefs – a person can get too attached to them. They seem so real, a person becomes the beliefs. But strong beliefs are usually developed in a sneaky way. They usually bypass our conscious logical brain.
Unquestioned beliefs can be dangerous. They can limit us. And all because we never took the time to really examine them.
Every minute you refuse to challenge your beliefs is one more minute wasted. Instead, with each minute, you could be working on bringing those deep unchallenged beliefs to conscious awareness, and watch them loose their grip on you.
