Life is a dance

You want to arrive on time for that dinner, but the car wouldn’t start so you ended up not going.

You want to follow a certain sequence to get that DIY job done, but you have to take another approach.

You believe people should always treat you with respect, but you become insulted as soon as that colleague ignores you at the Christmas party.

The mind wants things to happen in a straightforward manner, but they don’t. If this keeps happening again and again, then does it help you to continue to become frustrated, depressed and angry again and again?

Surely this means the world is not as rigid like you once believed? Surely knowing this, means you can now work with the daily situations you find yourself in, rather than resisting them?

Acceptance of life as it is, and building your self-confidence around this knowledge is a powerful combination.
