You take ownership of work assignments and college tasks. You become responsible for ensuring something gets done.
In the same way you own your speaking. Somebody else isn’t lending you their vocal cords. You have your own. Yes, I know you feel out of control when you speak, and you get frustrated because another person’s presence is causing you to block.
But when it comes down to it, you still own your speech.
Remember ownership comes with responsibility. If you own your speech, then only you can be responsible for the way you talk. Only you can make changes if you are not happy with your speech, or any aspect of your life.
