When we’ve spent large parts of our lives living in constant fear and anxiety of stammering and worrying about what others will think, and avoiding situations, then something in us says “enough is enough.”
We see other people our ages living the lives they want, doing what they want to, and we tell ourselves again “enough is enough.”
Communication with ourselves
We notice our thoughts and we realise we don’t really have a good relationship with them. We are creating them, and we are talking to ourselves, but the thoughts are not helpful, neither are we being friendly with ourselves. Again “enough is enough.”
And when “enough becomes too many enough’s”, it’s time for a shift in mindset.
